Harry Potter Comic

Description

Heheh, this was just a random idea that popped into my head a while back. I always thought that Hermione would correct grammar like I do, and she seems to get enjoyment from teasing Ron (RonXHermione ftw!). Poor Harry though; he may no longer be "the boy who lived".

I already left a comment on this story a while back, but now I can also do critiques so what the heck. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/x/x…" width="15" height="15" alt=":XD:" title="XD" />

This comic is very amusing; though Hermione is never shown to be such a grammar-Nazi in the books, the artist correctly notes that it does seem fairly in-character, and Ron's reaction seems even more so: practical and non-intellectual without making him seem stupid. Harry on the sidelines, meanwhile, is left out of the conversation (as often happens in the books), and is left working on the Snitch problem, which could be an exaggerated commentary on how he was acting during part of Deathly Hallows, but is more likely just meant to be funny and succeeding brilliantly.

The art itself is interesting: the bodies are ridiculously simple, but that merely works to emphasize how ridiculous the piece itself is, which works well here. The heads certainly prove that your art is up to snuff; I'm not sure if the heads are maybe too realistic and the bodies too simple, but this is just me nitpicking. If there was one thing I would most suggest changing, it would actually be the title: "Harry Potter Comic" seems too generic. I would have probably gone with something like "You-Know-Whom" myself.

All in all this was a wonderfully amusing little strip, so thanks for making it! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/g/g…" width="17" height="15" alt=":giggle:" title="Giggle" />
