Description
First of all, this is a collab with the awesome ~Tobitkiwi. She did the amazing lineart, and I colored it and did the entire background, so click here and tell her what a fantastic job she did with the lineart! While you're at it, you should take a look at the rest of her gallery too!
Yay! This is my fifth digital painting! I'm still not very good, but I'm getting there! I was more efficient this time too. It only took me three hours to color. Of course, it's always the drawing that seems to take the longest...
I know that the background sucks, but that was my second time doing a background on photoshop. I'll get better at it eventually. That was my first explosion too... >_<
I still don't know what I'm doing... I can't wait until I start taking art classes...
I hope that you like how it turned out!

I loved this piece so much, which moves me to critique it. I was thoroughly impressed with the color scheme; not gaudy, but not underwhelming. The fact that you went with darker colors for his clothes really made the blue of his eyes pop, and the effect is wonderful! I also like the posing, because it creates a more whimsical tone, which you accentuated with the earbuds. You captured an innocence that I feel most would have missed here! And to hear that two artists did it? That's what makes it fives across the board in my book. Great work! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
